3D effects, VC shading and AA in P3D?

I currently fly in FSXA but I'm looking at purchasing P3D. Before I do I'd like to ask a few questions...

1) I use DX10 Preview in FSX and fly with nVidia 3D glasses, but the fact that effects (lights, smoke etc.) are 2D is disapointing. Are P3D effects truly 3D???

2) in FSXA DX10 Preview the VC is self-shaded, but the shadows are very jagged. Are the VC shadows in P3D (in DX10) smooth? Can anyone post some screenshots to illustrate?

3) in FSXA DX10 Preview the anti-aliasing wasn't fully functional. Has it been fixed in P3D using DX10? Again, can anyone post some screenshots to illustrate?

Many thanks indeed

Andy

Don't know about the 3d, but Prepar3d is DX9 only at the moment, there isn't a DX10 option.

Prepar3D ver 2.0 will feature the latest DirectX (can't remember if it is 10 or 11). Of course you will have to wait until next year before it is out.

Thanks for your replies regarding DirectX guys. Has anyone out there used Prepar3D with 3D nVidia glasses??

I briefly tried it today with alaglyph (red/cyan) glasses, but the light effects still have the same problems as FSX.
