• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

Always wondered what happened to the CW-21. Happy to see it's on it's way, even as just a "target"! Now if we could only get a Ki-45......
 
By the way, this is GREAT news!! Good to see that Il-2 is still alive and kicking and my thanks to those who stepped up to assist UBIsoft with this revision!

Huh, to assist Ubisoft ?!....mh, I think you mean to assist Oleg (1C company)..or better said that Oleg just paid a dev team over 8 months for us so we get this extention for free. Did you read the interview ?
 
Oleg spoke of "my team" and I assumed that ment UBisoft.......oops, my bad!!
 
Oleg's "team" is about 10 people in an appartment in Moscow...hardly the size of Ubisoft, hehe.

O.k., o.k.....enough picking on Nausicca (he's probably not reading this thread anymore anyway).

So, any news on the release date for the 4.09 patch?

I suppose we "retired grandpas" (two goals I hope to reach someday) have the right to vent, but let's face it, Nausicaa's gone so isn't like flogging a dead horse? Let's get over it and move on.

I for one am looking forward to the latest patch and can't wait for it to come out! Believe it or not I'm looking forward to the release of the CW-21! It'll help round out the "Pacific Fighters" part of the sim.
