A2A Lockheed Constellation 48-610 "Columbine II" - Repaint for the A2A Lockheed L049 Constellation

This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Lockheed L049 Constellation in the colors of 48-610 "Columbine II". It was delivered to the USAF as a C-121A in 1949 and was used for flights between MacArthur Field NY and Keflavik on Iceland in 1949. It was then converted to VC-121A and became the presidential aircraft "Columbine II" for president Eisenhower until 1954. After 1954 is was used as a VIP aircraft for the remainder of its Air Force career, with a brief stint in Thailand as N9907F...
