• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

on the old computer,Asseto Corsa always had a "download paused" remark on it in steam.i followed a thing on the steam forums that worked,but i dont remember what it was.cant find it either,but i thought with a new pc and a brand new ...well everything..it would load,it didnt,any ideas what the problem might be?
 
Has it fully downloaded? If it says paused, select resume and see if it continues to download. Might not have the whole file yet.

Go to 'manage downloads' and you should be able to sort it from there.

ive tried that,it didnt make any differance.just "pauses"...i did a verify the program or something,without looking i dont recall the proper term.but its under properties in the game properties.
 
I don't know if you are getting it to start Dave or not. Are you seeing anything when you click on the shortcut to start the game? I have had a couple of games on Steam that wouldn't start using the shortcuts on my desktop, made me mad as heck too. What you can try is, start steam, select on the top left of the screen games, From that list, select AC. You should see a pic like this, try selecting play from it and see if it starts. The games I had trouble with do start using this method.
