ACTIVE SKY

collensr

SOH-CM-2025
Not sure if anyone on here has used Active Sky in the past but FYI they have announced their product is now cleared for 2024.

"Active Sky FS (ASFS) brings direct MSFS 2020 (and MSFS2024) integration. Brand new features and functionality are made specifically for MSFS and designed to improve your weather simulation experience."

I used Active Sky all through my FSX/P3D days - not tried in 2020 yet as i am moving to 2024 soon - that's if Father Christmas delivers my new PC as I have asked. I've been well behaved all year so hopefully it's a done deal ....

ActiveSky does work like a charm in both FS2020 and FS2024.
Only problem is that it does take while after loading into the sim for the WX to update.
It was very noticeable yesterday flying in northern Finnland. FS own WX was overcast and cold. Only after starting AS did windward snow come in that were reported on the real ATIS at Oulu and a ground observer I happened to have there that evening ;)

I'm going to buy it again - you've convinced me!
