Allergy's

Ickie

For the past 2 years I have been to the ER twice and my vision was almost gone, I was told I had glaucoma.
yesterday I was so bad in the morning that I went to walmarts and almost could not drive and see. I bought 1 bottle of Allegra to give it a try, (I ran out of options) note, at no time did the Dr's tell me I had an allergy,
This morning I woke up and all my symptoms were gone, the TV and computer screen well the colors were almost too bright and almost 3D, They are still this way and I have not worn my glasses all day, infact the new ones are now too strong.
I hope this continues.
Think outside the box!

Something you might want to check out is nasal irrigation http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nasal_irrigation

Although I only suffer occasional seasonal symptoms, my wife suffered year round. She got mixed relief from her prescriptions. Her doctor recommended she try a "Nettie Pot" and it did wonders for her.

If I start suffering seasonal symptoms I use one myself. They take a bit to get used to but it works very well for both of us.

:kilroy: Oh, yes, it does take getting used to and the first time is...memorable. Leaning over a sink, with a long spouted pot stuck up your nose, lean, tip and flush.

I devloperd some glaucoma a few years ago....Was 77 yrs old then...The new surgery helped me to regain 20/20 eyesight. Now going on to 81 yrs.Still fly when I can. Do not discount Glaucoma surgery.. If you have glaucoma? This condition will not get better.Find THE CLINIC,DOCTOR EXPERT IN LASER SURGERY AND YOU WILL BE OK as millions are..do not resort to Quackery, or a quick fix for there are none..Remember Eyesight is your greatest treasure...Protect it...Good Luck..Vin

My wife uses it daily, before she did that she had continual sinus trouble. Now, not so much.

We're having a bad allergy season here because the weather keeps getting warm, then cooling off, then getting warm again. Ickie's side of the bay is really getting hammered.

the pill (Allegra) isn't a 24 hour pill, lol, more like 18 hours.:icon_eek:
:icon_eek: I just got up with blery cloudy eyes and nose stuffed up & the bright colors are back to my normal, just took an Allegra, so looking for it to pop, in the meantime I did my eye drops.

great artical..thank you for posting.ive allways used distilled water per doctors orders...he was very insistant on that,,,i said in my previous post i use the netipot..i dont..but what i use i the same outcome...i got mine from my doctor and its more like a very large syringe and you use a measured amount of water.

but Icki?..you really should read that link and then try it...just dont over use or abuse it...my dr wants me to use it twice a day..but i do it every other day and im fine....if i dont do it at all,,i have blurred vision, headaches, cant breathe through my nose at all (and ive had the diviated ceptum surgery)i even get discomfort in my ears...they feel wet all the time..
