I predict lots of sleepless nights early February.... :isadizzy:

F.e.a.r. 2: Project Origin picks up right where the original ended, so you'll be fighting more replica's and an unleashed alma in the ruins of the city..

This demo scared me more in twenty minutes than the full first game did, and I'm really looking forward to the release!

It seems to run pretty smooth on my old Core2Duo at 2.13Ghz with a GeForce 8800 GT.

Some in-game screenshots which I made at maxed out detail:

The demo was released today, and is available at several sites; here's a good one to get it from: http://www.gamershell.com/news_67980.html

Enjoy....... If you dare!

I have the original and both expansion packs, you can bet I will get this one. In fact the wife has said it will be one of my birthday presents. :woot:

I love a horror game that uses plot, suspense and surprises instead of just gore. FEAR has always reminded me of the old, good horror movies instead of the modern slasher flicks. I do not know who came up with the idea for Alma but it is one of the better plots I have seen.

be warned, the demos nearly 2 gigs!!!!!!!!! :faint:

anyone rember the demos which could fit on a floppy disk? :woot:

Yep, 1.76 gigs at 4 hours to download. :faint: :costumes: I guess I'll wait til later on. I hope it's for PC.

well i gave it a play, aint been scared like that for ages!

Few things i didnt like tho, the motion blur seemed a bit sensitive and over done when you move quick and the pace of the chap is to quick for me, i'd like the option to walk slowly, other than that .... i'm gonna get it :applause:

And what the heck was that ghostie thing in the school! :isadizzy:

Yes, the music, sound effects are bone chilling. I have a low-end surround sound system, and it makes the hairs on my arms (don't have any on my head:wiggle: ) stand on end!
