• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Goodness....

Did you see his final climbout?? Must have been nearly vertical. He really got into the accelleration too. You could hear the fan jets really biting the air, spooling up...

Could you imagine being inside that jet, and you werent fastened in (seat belts).. If you fell down the ilse way, you would have a long way to go to the rear, lol.. eeeks!

lol i would have loved to see the video continue... pulls up, close to stall speed kicks the rudder, and reverses back down for another pass.

what type of tubeliner was that? looked like a 757 to me...?

Go back up to the first post to the movie it says it's a 757.Watch the movie again ,at the end it says 757 goes verticle.

Quite a hot performer...considering it is a tube liner. But then again, the plane was designed to carry up to 279 passengers and enough fuel for 3,900 nautical miles. Take that plane, with out the passengers and attendants, only a light load of fuel.....and the plane's performance and speed go up. Sure did have a very aggressive sound coming in low and hot like that.

I don't remember where I saw him, was in the early 80's. Guessing it was probably Fairchild AFB during one of shows. Was amazing indeed. :kilroy:
