Astrasim Expo Ltd is a brand new publishing and events company dedicated to aviation and in particular flight simulation. The aim is to take our flight simulation events around the UK. Already in 2009 two shows are in the planning stages. The first to be held on August 1st at Sherburn Aero Club in West Yorkshire, with a further event to be held in September 19th – 20th at the Royal Air Force Museum, Cosford in Shropshire. Sherburn will host a full flight sim and computer show. Where as Cosford will be the premier event of the year. Around 40 plus exhibitors are expected, attending a two day show.

Cosford will be a major event in the UK calendar, a full two day event at this world class venue with everything from demonstrations to seminars and not forgetting the amazing museum itself with much of our national aviation heritage on display. Sherburn will be following on from its success in 2008 with a bigger event next year, this time incorporating a computer fair to run alongside the flight sim show. Both events will be great days out for all the family, with entertainment throughout the day and night!

Sherburn Aero Club spokesman said “we are all looking forward to the show in 2009, with the flight simulation user group now an integral part of our club it certainly enhances aviation, along with bringing many more interested people to the airfield to see what we’re all about”
