• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

Hi there,

I wanted to drop a few pics of a small project I have been working on.
I rediscovered Marcel Duplessis beautiful Thrush S2R-T34 from around 2005. It had basic textures, here is a rework from mine, the 3D model still look gorgeous ! Effects are nicely done with the "I" smoke simulating a nice spray.
A tweaked the mdl to adjust usual speculiar & shine.
Current livery is a WIP, should be finished soon.

I'll de-reflective the mdl file, in order to be able to hide the spray bar and the free driven turbine with alpha layer.

PS: though, it will not look exactly like the IOMAX Archangel on your photo, different Thrush type (S2R-660 I think)
 
WIP - COIN version

The MDL file modification went well under HeX editor, I succesfully disabled reflectivity and I was able the "alpha" the spraying equipment to make it invisible.
Still, the shadow on the ground still shows the spray bar...not a big deal.
