There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.
If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.
Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Just wanted to say thank you to all the devs out there. Without which our hobby would be something else entirely! I've just been so impressed with all the repaints lately (since that's my new thing) but I didn't want to neglect anyone!
In no particular order:. DaveQ, gman5250, jens-ole, jeansy, Bomber_12th, Jankees, Willy, zsolt, yoyo, Tankerguy, TuFun, falcon409, huub vink, wellis, butcherbird17, TiAir, Christoph_T, FSXAR177, Tom Weiss, and I'm sure I've missed many others who deserve a big round of applause for your talents. Thank you! I'm just in awe of your abilities.

I would like to add 2 more names to the list: 'Duckie' and Larry (LDR) !! For Larry to have approximately 5,000 downloads on his first airplane, tells ya something !! And he's got 3 more in the 'pipeline' !!
I fully appreciate everyone in the nerd labs, I have tried my hand at building FDEs and coding and I know how hard it can be. That's why I now stick to modelling as it's something I find satisfying, pleases the engineer in me and gives me a lot of enjoyment. Building aircraft for sims is just like building aircraft in the real world, it takes a team of dedicated people each with their own unique skills. One person can do it but it takes much longer and the old adage of 'Jack of all trades, master of none' comes into play, it's far better to assemble a group of masters in their specific field to work on a project together.Meanwhile, the nerd labs of aerodynamics (flight dynamics), acoustics (sound), computer science (panels) and civil engineering (scenery) ordered a freight train worth of ice cream because yet again the artistry department (models, textures) got the limelight.
I think we have more active devs here than on the FSDeveloper forums!

I would also like to Thank Larry for dragging me into the development field. I just wish I had time to be more of a pain in the Arse to him again.

...I must give a MASSIVE apology to DUCKIE, for leaving you off my original "list"...
I also apologize for not including the list of all the "nerds" in the background Bjoern! Their efforts literally make us want to fly the sim vs just a video game. Thank you!!!
Since you just can't catch 'em all, wouldn't it be better to simply thank everybody in general for contributing?
I agree Bjoern! A BIG THANK YOU to EVERYONE who develops FS in any capacity! Your contributions have made us all inspired in whatever niche of talent you may have! Great community here!
