Black Friday madness

I ventured out on the roads here in Pensacola today; not to shop, but to drive down to the Navy Hospital pharmacy to pick up a prescription. Fortunately, the traffic to/from the Navy Hospital was minimal. The Navy Exchange, however, was insane! I wasn't buying anything; just wasting time until my prescription was ready. Good thing though. The lines were long, and the parking lot was jammed.

I can only imagine what the one & only shopping mall is like, here in Pensacola. Nope, no way. I'd rather put a sharp stick in my eye. NC

I'm sure Airport Blvd, N. Davis and 9th were stupid today.

I stayed away from all three. Whenever & wherever I drive to in Pensacola, I take side streets where possible, and take my time. Yes, there are a lot of stop signs, and lower speed limits. Takes longer too. But I don't worry about heavy traffic. My nerves can't handle the stress, as I get older, and I have a chocec! NC
