Unconfirmed at the moment aside from the usual scuttlebutt rumours but it seems as if Brawn GP has 'Officially' been purchased lock, stock and two smoking barrels by Daimler Benz and will be entered under the name 'Mercedes Benz F1' .............. :kilroy:
Formula DTM 1 anybody???

Mercedes GP, actually. Good news for Button, because I don't think Mercedes will have any problem paying him whatever he wants. Heidfeld and Rosberg have been linked to a Mercedes move too.

The way I here it Button is moving on because the new team wants German drivers for there German machinery ? Also heard that Button took a massive pay cut to drive in the new Brawn team in '09. I'm wondering what will happen to McLaren and there drivers as they have been running the Merc engines.

Maccas get 'customer' spec engines ....... :kilroy:
As of 1830 DST the SBS World News came up with a report that Button has signed with McLaren for roughly double his 2009 Brawn rate.
Not that I'm a MacDonalds fan at all but I'd love to see them clean up 'Mercedes F1' next year.
:applause:

Force India and Brawn GP showed how good those 'customer' engines are.. With the current engine freeze I doubt there's much difference anymore between the engines.
