Hello IL2 people. I am new to this sim but am really starting to enjoy it. I should have got into it a long time ago. I am really looking forward to some good Korean war era combat, if I can get everything working. Anyway, my issue is that the sim runs fine up to and including 4.09. But anything higher than that and any mod at all causes it to CTD. It starts loading and gets only to 5% and just quits. If I reinstall 4.09, everything is fine. I have also tried JSGME and some of those mods and anything other than the stock game settings make it CTD as soon as it starts loading.

what mods are you using exactly?

most of the mod packs have to be installed to a certain patched version of the game and if you try to install to a different version the game will lock up...

also...i don't think you can install a new official patch on a modded version of the game...which is one reason i have multiple installs....or at least i did until i had to clear my hd recently...
