Arrived at Jacquinot Bay through a nice little thunderstorm.

I found it! Landed at HFD. Nice smooth flight, none of the turbulence and storms of the past few days. IFR navigation worked well (I Follow Rivers, or the occasional Road).

Yeah, that flight sets up pretty for us river runners .... right down between all of the terrain as well.

FS registered a crash as I was on short final into WAMH. I guess it must have been the trees, although I was nowhere near them. I hope this isn't the old problem of Orbx being OTT with their crash boxes, as I'm using their HD trees. I think I'll be doing some testing to find out.

Landed at WAMH. Kept a loooong way from the trees, landed in the middle of the field and trusted the Mossie's stopping ability!

aaaand arrived at Malita. A little stormy but it didn't cause much trouble.

Many thanks to the organisers of this event :applause: Thoroughly enjoyable, and it gave a good opportunity to get some hours in the Mosquito which I had neglected for some time.
 
Nice run Nick! Good to see the plywood speedbird cross the finish line.
 
Terrific to get the Mossie into the fold. Well done.

And besides, we need someone to buy the next round...
