CC-138 Twin Otter livery question

Dear gents,

PAD Twin Otter is ready to rumble!
I felt free to add several panel lines and a subtle weathering and shadowing.

Just have to pack her, should be up by the end of the week.

Now the Dantès/Illanes DHC-6 is on final...

Cheers,
Markus.

CAF Twin Otter Repaint

Hello everyone,

Is it possible to apply the same paint work to the Aerosoft Otter ?

Cheers for now.

Aircanuck:jump:

Hi, Aircanuck!

Sorry, I don't have the Aerosoft bird in my hangar.
But if anyone wants to take over, I'd gladly provide the layered paint set to easen the work...

BTW, just as a side note... I took the original Dantès Requin package and gave the model a shot of "Semi Gloss" dynamic shine with the help of Jeff "WuhWuzDat" Delhaye's integration of MDLC into my system. Then I took the textures and remove the alpha and MIPs. (Then I replaced the original prop texture - seems it needs MIPs to display properly.)

So if you have a version of the original Dantès model, it's easy to update the look!

Double feature, part 2

Dear gents,

my white rescue scheme for the Dantès/Illanes DHC-6 / CC-138 is in the air by now!

dhc6_caf13807_2.zip

at AVSIM and here at the Outhouse.

A big "meci beaucoup" to Thierry Pujol for providing his terrific paint kit!

Cheers,
Markus.

Hi, aeronca!

No prob:
You just have to take the dhc6.air file (built 29.05.2008), included in Thierry Pujol's awesome panel upgrade package tpu_dhc6_panel.zip (AVSIM) for the Dantès Twotter and put it into your PAD DHC-6 folder.

Open your PAD DHC-6 aircraft.cfg (don't forget to alter the "sim=..." lines!) and replace the propeller, TurbineEngineData and turboprop_engine sections by these:

----------------

[propeller]
propeller_type=0
propeller_diameter=8.800
propeller_blades=3
propeller_moi=19.000
beta_max=62.000
beta_min=5.000
min_gov_rpm=25520.000
prop_tc=0.004
gear_reduction_ratio=17.600
fixed_pitch_beta=20.000
low_speed_theory_limit=80.000
prop_sync_available=0
prop_deice_available=0
prop_feathering_available=1
prop_auto_feathering_available=1
min_rpm_for_feather=700.000
beta_feather=79.300
power_absorbed_cf=0.900
defeathering_accumulators_available=0
prop_reverse_available=1
minimum_on_ground_beta=1.000
minimum_reverse_beta=-14.000
thrust_scalar=1.000

[TurbineEngineData]
fuel_flow_scalar=1.000000
fuel_flow_gain=0.025
inlet_area=0.300
rated_N2_rpm=29920.000
static_thrust=80.000
afterburner_available=0

[turboprop_engine]
maximum_torque=1700.000
power_scalar=1.000
max_rpm_mechanical_efficiency_scalar=1.000
idle_rpm_mechanical_efficiency_scalar=1.000
max_rpm_friction_scalar=1.000
idle_rpm_friction_scalar=1.000

----------------

That's all!

Regards,
Markus.
