CFS2 Dornier in FS2004

Hi Guys - I'm new to this site, and what a wonderful resource it is!
Now, I realise that CFS2 planes don't tend to work too well in FS without tweaking etc, but there are some great models out there that just aren't available as FS aircraft. So...I've tried a few from this site (as is, I know nothing about the tweaking side of things), and one series of aircraft that work and look really great in FS2004 are the Dornier Do-17's by thickosehaskel.
One problem though - in the virtual cockpit view in each model, half of the panel is set against a large black ugly square, which protrudes through the model.
Would anyone know of anyway to possibly fix this one problem on what would otherwise be a great set of CFS2 aircraft usable in FS2004 ?

Cheers, A.
