CFS3 Terrain SDK tools

Does anybody know which tools, included in the CFS3 Terrain SDK, actually work?

Right now, trying the mksm, and get nothing.

phew.. have not had those tools in years.. sorry buddy. Best bet is to check over in the CFS3 forum... lots of the designers hang out there.

I might be wrong here, but I think Korean Skies was on the SOH server, so should be back up in some time. Martin Wright's site had a little information on it afaik:- http://www.mnwright.btinternet.co.uk/cfs3/cfs3sdk.htm

crossram, you might ask NachtPiloten about the terrain sdk tools, but he'll likely take a little time to crack that nut: he now has Ed Wilson's source files for PTO Solomons to rediscover how 'tis done...

Many thanks for the replys, hairyspin!

Yes, I'll prod NachtPiloten, and see if he can point me in some right directions. Hopefully he might have some of Ed's notes.

I have everything I could get my hands on regarding the Terrain SDK, and the 'so-called' tools...that very few actually work. Of course, that's where the (my) problem rests. Even with a tool that works, there's some unknowns to get the needed results. (Lol! That's what I get for trying to do oddball stuff.)
