Citation X

Honeywell avionics with FMC's - pass. Does look good though. Wish they'd do the X+ with the G5000 suite. But then again, the Citation Longitude has that suite and costs less. The only downside to that model is a lack of a modelled cabin.

I did some googling... The X is a rocketship, but the cabin is smaller and it has a shorter range. The Longitude is slower, has a bigger cabin, and a longer (hence the name?) range than the X.

It's the same people who made the Piaggio P180 which is, along with the PMDG 737 and the Black Square Dukes and Starship, one of the best planes in my hangar. I'm one of those lunatics who actually enjoys fiddling with an FMC/FMS. I will be picking this one up.

The only question I have (as I'm likely to install 2024 after SU3) is if I get the 2024 version for free if I buy the 2020 version. If not, I'll wait. If so, I'm in. I can't seem to find a definitive answer.
 
Honeywell is a plus to me. The sim has a bajillion Garmin planes I can fly. That bores me -- too similar an experience across them all. As for FMCs, their presence is only an issue if you're always trying to fly a realistic flight profile. I've done many, many flights in FMC-equipped planes without touching them. A real pilot wouldn't fly a 747 or bizjet without using the FMC, but Denny would. :)

Between it not being Garmin, and coming from FlightFX (their P180 and Cirrus jet are awesome), I'm interested. The Citation X itself is a yawner for me since I already have the CJ4 and Longitude in the sim (how different would a Garmin Citation X be from the Longitude?), but add in FlightFX's attention to detail and an interesting new avionics suite and I might have to grab this next time I'm looking for something modern to fly.
