• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Classics Hangar Freeware

Please would somebody explain what these "adjustments" need to be . . .

Thanks in advance for any help . . .
P3D doesn't like the possibility to switch between textures lo-res or hi-res. Install with the choice hi-res (4096?). After installation copy the textures you chose out of the (in my case) 4096 map, located in the texture map and put these in the texture map itself. You can than delete the 4096 and 2048 maps.
Hope this helps!

If you are going to do more with them than just fly around, you may want to look into what was done with FSX@War. Back a couple years ago, edakridge and I created a number of German airfields in Italy in 1944 for the 461st BG B-24's we were flying together and I believe also knowak did a number of European German airfields in occupied countries in the 1940's as well. If you are interested.

I remember FSX@War.. I was tempted. Is it still available? That could be some warbird fun. Would the scenery run in P3Dv4.5?

I don't know if it is still online. You can do a Google search to see what you can find if you want WWII. Otherwise edakridge and I are planning Vietnam with a package he created with partners back in FSX updated for P3D and Tacpack.
