Cockpit / External View

When I flew in FSX I had a button programed on my CH Yoke that would allow me to go from the cockpit view to an external view and back, once outside I could perform a walkaround using the "hat button" on the said A/C. With MSFS 2020, jumping on the mouse and clicking the top of the screen to the camera mode icon just isn't getting the job done, is my FSX setup possible in the new Sim ? Have tried to follow the many YouTube tutorials on the subject but I'm not having much success. Presently using the Thrustmaster Boeing Yoke and Throttle Quadrant in the default mode with no issues.

If I understand the key you are looking for, the one I use is:

Control Options -> Camera -> Camera Mode Switches -> Cockpit/External View Mode

By default, it's assigned to the "End" key on your keyboard, but you can assign to any key or switch on your controller.

Hope that helps.
