• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Used to have a Citroen CX in the 70's, what a heap of crap it turned out to be. 7 years old and sent to the scarp yard full of rust. Just about the only thing that never went wrong with it was the fancy suspension. Hate them. put me in a lot of debt and took forever to recover. Just seeing a picture of one puts me in rage mode.

Well, it was a good looking car though! ;)

This French one-off from 1928 listen to the name 'Christiane-Huit'; as you can tell, driver safety was minimal at best!

The Christiane Huit is a one-off, built by Angé Andrieux,
an aeroplane builder, which we recognise in construction details.
The name is inspired by his daughter listening to the name Huit,
not his eighth child. Andrieux engaged in Formula-1 races
in 1928. Wings never have been an option. Nor doors.
