I just added your Sunderlands & Kawanishi, a Condor & a Whitley to my FS2004. I think I have most, if not all your add-ons in my various installs.

at first a great THANKS for your work.
Of course I tested out the new Cats starting from the location you created.
Realy fine

I recently wrote you about a special mdel used by the frenchies.
They had modified some of the cats with the front turret but removed the blisters and repaced them by doors.
To show ou what I mean is best to see on the dedicated site:

The french catalinas seems to be completely forgotten for the Alphasim PBY.
I still have done a repaint for the Pelikan Vert, the Air France and an Aeronavale one
I also did the repaint for one of the SLPAC plane but I used a 5A for it.

Ha ha...yes one day.....
I have to agree though. Alphasim missed a great opportunity of earning more money out of just one ac, with all the versions and operators, both military and civillian, they could have easily developed a lot of add-on packs.

yes I agree with you that alphasim has missed a nice oportunity to make moe about.
But thanks to you we can benefit of some more examples.
For my part I have devided my Alphasim PBY in four different ones for the moment
a) ALPHA PBY-5 (floatplanes only)
b) ALPHA PBY-5A mil (military versions with miltary drop effects)
c) ALPHA PBY-5A civ (civile versions, with waterbomber drop effects)
d) ALPHA Shessi PBY Shessi's versions
Thes have three different 2D panels (the vc are as much as possible modified to match the 2d panels)
One civil and two different military versions.
They are nearby to be published, but every day I find new details which can improve them
and some interesting repaints some showing the Cats that have suffered some dammages.
Wonder when I can publish them,Lol
I have still sended some screenies at FS2004 screenshots

Hallo here a screenshot of the RAF Catalina of No 210Squadron, Flying Officer Cruickshank returned to Sullom Voe (thanks Shessi for the scenery) after he has sunk a german U-Boot. The plane and the crew suffered heavy AA gun fire from the U-Boot. The crew later was distingueshed by the Victoria Cross

Alphasim PBY Catalinas

allright ALPHASIM was first to bring out this bird,
but I feel that it was done hummm let's say loveless.
The 2D panel hummm, I cannot be objective as I work on the panels.
The vc with not working instruments on the right side is realy like just done in a hurry, sadly I cannot make a lot about it. This bird offers so many variants they realy have passed a side good opurtunities.
Thanks to you Shessi the gap will be filled - and as bonus you have offered us a nice scenery for the boat.
