Corrupted Flight Planner!?!

I am having a sudden issue with the Flight Planner in FS9. The first symptoms were when I changed from country to country, the filter would not list the cities or states properly. Then the game started to lock up when I tried to use the flight planner or change my location. When the game locked and crashed I found the error log and this is what it said:

Faulting application fs9.exe, version 9.1.0.40901, faulting module symmap.dll, version 9.1.0.40901, fault address 0x00013607.

I tried uninstalling the 9.1 update and reinsatlling it but the game crashes whenever i go to the flight planner screen or try to change the location.

Any ideas? I'm stumped and don't really want to reinstall if possible.

I think I tracked down the scenery that caused the problem. I deactivated the Air Transport Command '43 South Atlantic fields and the flight planner works fine now. I looked inside the scenery folder but couldn't find a landclass file. But I know very little about scenery files so I could be looking right at it and not know it!

Thanks for the tip! It seemed to have done the trick.
