• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Craig's Wayward Western Wanderings

Craig Taylor

SOH-CM-2025
Well, maybe (hopefully?) not too wayward, since the route's already been established. Hoping for good weather! See everybody at the Top of the Mark next month. :ernae:

First leg KBFI -> CYPS in the Beech Duke B60, AS2012 SP2, Orbx PNW, on the Outhouse FSHost and Avsim TRW TS

Well, interesting "landing" on that one, as I stalled at about 15' above the threshold and pancaked onto the runway. Still, "green" duenna so all is good. :jump:

Flight time: 0:51:19
Fuel used: 309.0 lbs
Sorry, no pics on this one. The Goldman-Sachs guy left the lenscap on the camera. I'll have to have a word with him... ;)

On to the next leg CYCG -> KSFF. Felts or bust. :running: I offer a blindfold to the now skittish pencil-pusher from G-S. He just gives me a dirty look...

Well...THAT was interesting! I tried to use a custom waypoint in the GNS but I must have dorked something up because it was way off. Finally found the field after searching down one canyon and up another. I don't regret giving the paper-pusher a hard time since he made me fly into THIS place! Still, we're in one piece and I'm looking forward to getting out of here. Good thing there's enough room to stretch out in the back. This place is very sparse.

Flight time: 53:09
Fuel used: 322.0 lbs
