Cri-Cri Fans. . . .Take a look!!

Has anyone found the Paint Kit? It was checked as part of the installation, but I have yet to locate it, lol

You will find it in the "ATS Simulations"-Folder, located under "all programs" (Win7) - there is allso the manual :biggrin-new:

ATB

Ok, Win10 has a different arrangement but I did find it eventually. Unfortunately Paint Shop Pro_8 doesn't open the layers, I just get a transparent single layer with a slight hint of what's there. I do understand there are other programs that will open it correctly, but I don't use those....I use Paint Shop Pro.

Guess I'll have to ask the right question here:
Does anyone have a suggestion as to how the PSD files can be converted to PSP files and still maintain the layers? At one time I thought I had used GIMP to make the conversion, that doesn't appear to be an option with that program any more. No I don't want to use GIMP to do my repaints, at my age I don't need another learning curve. It's Paint Shop Pro or nothing. Thanks!

Ed, I've been able to save a layered set of my textures for my own model in .psd format from .psp format using PSP7. I can likewise read the .psd textures & resave in .psp all with layers intact. Wonder why you cannot?
Keith

[edit] Just a thought - you say you have opened the textures in psp8, but not clearly.....does that mean that the alpha layer is the one thats showing & the other layers are still there and available in the layer list?

If I have a layered paint kit that I have made for my own use, I can then export that as a .psd file for others to use and I can, in turn, read that psd file back into Paint Shop Pro. That does not hold true for PSD format PK's done straight from the Photoshop Program. If I attempt to open those I get an error message that the file contains unsupported functions and it gives me a single layer, transparent image.

Silly question but does the handbrake work in your Cri Cri?

It doesn't in mine.

I think this is a fantastic fun aircraft and beautifully done.

Cheers Chris

Chris, I haven't had a need to use the VC handbrake, but I can confirm that using the keystroke ctrl+. does not set the brakes, so maybe that will be part of the update Andrey is working on.

Thanks Ed,I mentioned your PSP problem to him so he may come back on that as well.

It really is a delightful little aircraft to tear about in.Aerobatics are great.

Cheers Chris

Definitely a terrific little airplane for general sightseeing and some aerobatics. I've been flying all over the New England Area, then down to Long Island. Great Fun!

From ATSimulations: "The flap animation has been fixed and will be part of an update due to be released in a few weeks."
Thanks Andrey!
