    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

CTD at KDCA

CTD at KDCA


After receiving a CTD starting at and flying into KDCA I removed everything from the Community folder and two DRzewiecki addons, Washington Landmarks and KDCA Ronald Reagan National airport. I continued getting a CTD at KDCA after restarting MSFS.


Anyone else having a CTD at KDCA?


I've flown successfully from and into at least a half dozen airports including Washington Dulles since SU6.


What is SAFE mode and what does it allow?

Safe mode launches the sim with no add-ons loaded from the marketplace or community folder. If it runs OK, you can start re-loading add-ons to find the one which caused the CTD. If it CTD's even in Safe mode it could be a driver issue, or as I found at Gatwick on my system, switching Photogrammetry back on cured it.
