Dambusters training missions

I'll have to re fly these, but WRT our emails, seems depressing the scenery altitude with empty+land facilities is how the water was done? In the D/L I don't see a facility responsible? Is it part of the dam?

The Derwent, if I remember, just sits in the scenery. The Mohne, however, does have the flatten (I think, will need to check) Flying the Chastise mission again I don't think it's really not half bad as it is. It could be detailed a bit, the power station, for instance but flying at night nothing stands out as being awry. Very atmospheric and resonant of the movie!
It could do with better engine sounds though.

OK. just did the 'Derwent Training Familiarisation' mission. Looking at the maps and then the briefing, I couldn't see a connection between the 2 WRT roads, as the reservoir side didn't seem to have a main road' all were South of the reservoir?
The in game map and TI just showed a 90deg dogleg West and South. Anyway here are daytime pics. May do a couple more and then night! I changed the aircraft in the mission to the ETO_Lanc_M3_Dam.

Well, if you want to see anything put your lights out! I'm not sure where I was and without the label and the TI, I would have had no idea! Some light reflection on the water but if no moon or stars I would have had 0 idea. (maybe my Shaders25 has too dark a night?). Probably easier with searchlights and guns around.derwentA.jpgderwentB.jpgderwentC.jpgderwentD.jpgderwentE.jpg

I'm having the same difficulty James so am looking into the moon and terrain lighting at night.
