Dark Side of the Moon.....no, not the real..

im more of a ..........well i dont know how to classify my music taste...i like Alison Krauss(sexiest voice alive) ,Deanna Carter (strawberry wine was great)..sting is a favorite aswell..."the police" was "my band" for a long time,i put my cassette in the player as i drove out of my driveway, and it just got played over and over ( had auto-reverse in my monty carlo's sound system, also had a 454/turbo 400,with duel exhaust AND GLASSPACKS..lol)id play it all the way to chico to my sisters house,id then go spend a few hundred dollars buying plastic models (armour and softskins in 1/35th scale) at this awesome hobby shop, was the best in northern cal back then...then id hit the racetrack where we listened to stuff by groups like the charlie daniels band,or we'd swing way the other way and listen to the sons of the pioneers,or the sons of the San Joaquin.and ofcourse it was a "have to" to listen to that swingin song by john someone...jest a swingin...everyone in the pits in those days would play that...and then there were the wandering groups of goofs who would serenade you with...Loose Wheel dont you leave me toonight.....

but pink floyd, that brings back a haunting night of a young couple going a little to far in the romance area.....was a good time and a lot of fun at the time...but boy o boy did we pay for it later.....

Ahh yes.....Clare Torry....What a set of pipes that little girl had! Pink Floyd was one of the main "Soundtracks of my Life" when I was growing up and David Gilmour was a huge influence on my playing style when I was a young guitarist learning to play.

The Dark Side of the Moon. My all time favorite Pink Floyd album. Everytime I've switched music formats (vinyl - 8 track - cassette - CD) it's been one of the first albums I buy.

Pink Floyd is easily my favorite band. I'll have to listen to DSOTM tonight. Might do all of Wish You Were Here and Animals as well. :jump:

I keep changing what my favorite album is. I'd probably have to say WYWH, followed by Animals, DSOTM, Meddle, Obscured by Clouds, and the Wall, in that order. Not much of a fan of most of their earlier and later post-breakup stuff.
