Dc-3 mods?

Are there any good tweaks available for the default DC-3? Or, phrased differently, where can I get the best flight model for the Douglas?

I've downloaded a DC-3 Airways rework by Daniel Nole, and it seems pretty cool. Can anyone comment on this, how it compares to the default FM, or others?

I remember seeing a package for FS2004, where if you didn't take care of the engines, they would sputter and die, I suppose like an early Accusim. Anyone know if this might work in FSX?

There is a package by 'the Awesome Foursome' at avsim that improves the default DC3 adding several new paints, models and extras. it doesn't include a new flight model but there might be some good effects.

If you go to http://dc3airways.com and find the add-on panels, there is one there by Norm Hancock for FSX. It contains a nifty panel and updated flight dynamics as well as 2 DC3 Airways liveries. The flight model is pretty good IMHO with maybe even a bit too much power...maybe. Default sounds are adequate but I prefer the MAAM DC-3 sounds. Trev Morson's sounds from www.douglasdc3.com are good too.

the only thing about the modified cfg from dc-3.com is that you lose the a/p
other than that, i have the cfg for fs9, and the difference is night and day. the improvement is amazing.
