Donation Drive Question

I see that it's time for the annual donation drive, and I'm confused.

I saw nothing about it when I checked in yesterday. Today I saw the donation drive page and there was no link to click to make a donation. The page indicated that the goal of $3500 was reached.

Is it even possible that the goal was reached in one day and donations are no longer needed or accepted? In one day? That would be wonderful but can it it really be so?

It it really is too good to be true, then how does one make a donation?

You can still donate by clicking on the second orange bar that says "Donate". You'll be redirected to the page.

Oh, and the drive was launched last Saturday.
