Douglas A20 Havoc

Something interesting. The RAAF labelled some of their Bostons as Boston IIIs. They also had some G models but I am curious as to what model the Boston III was. Perhaps a C model?

Just thought I'd tell anyone interested the June issue of AEROPLANE magazine has a database feature on the A-20. Good stuff!

Douglas A20 Havoc 2D panel

Hallo friends,
just some minutes ago I have send to this site my 2D panel for the Havoc.
It is based on a bmp done by Gaucho_59.
It is not really finished. I originally did it for the Alphasim Boston III but never finished it.
I now have tried to make it match as possible to Milton's A20. As I doesn't know if Milton will include a 2D panel
of it's own in the final release. If he will do so the topic will be off for me. Otherwise if there will be interest I will continue work on this panel.
For that I nedd that some one will test it and tell me what to change or do better.
I know there is still a lot to do on it.
Please see it just as a prototype
Yours
Papi

That is looking good Michael. I have no idea if the Boston is coming with a 2D panel.
I have a question for the RAF specialists about mission markings carried on RAF bombers. I have only one side image available for my Lorraine Sqn, 1944 paint, and need to know if mission marks where painted on just one side of the forward fuselage or on both ?
Here is what I have so far.

Thanks
Steve
