• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

The file library here used to be easily searchable based on people who uploaded the files. For the life of me, I can't easily search the library now, so I know I'm missing some great files. Why was the change in format made? Does the new software work like most of the "new and improved" read "much more complicated to use so user thinks it is a huge upgrade"? :icon_lol:

EDIT: In the it never fails department, no sooner than I post, I stumble across the easy search page.... Sheesh, now I know I'm getting old......

First, I'm not sure whether this is even active for regular users, but on my screen, where I have the red circle, you can see an eyeglass. Clicking on it allows me to see all the downloads by this particular member. However, even if you do have this feature, the search by user feature in the new library is problematic because of a script coding error.

Allow me to demonstrate...one of the people whose files were wiped out in CFS2 when we had the server crash is named Morton.

NOTE: To go to page 2 of Morton's downloads, take the section in red and add &page=2, changing the last number to 3, 4, and so on to keep accessing Morton's files.

Otherwise, because of a script error, it will resort by default to the entire Warbirds library.

Beyond that...I can help as best I can. If it makes you feel any better, the whole thing makes me nucking futs sometimes too! :banghead:
