JHey Guys (and Gals),

Trying to find some detail on the markings of DC ANG "Minuteman", the one time coast to coast speed record holder.

1. Did "Minuteman" appear on one side or both"

2. Does any one have any info on the spade marking on the tail, specifically the 2 white blocks on the yellow "4"?

(Sorry for the hatchet job but I didn't want to violate any copyrights of the image -- couldn't find any on the image itself.)

Any and all help appreciated.

Edit:
Found the answer to No. 2. - the white blocks are dice - a "4" and a "3" along witht he golden 4 in the spade make "47" for the 47th FIS.

The best thing you can do to find just the right spade like that is to google it. Some cut and paste will take a little bit of time- actually about as much time as finding the RIGHT spade. However, it will be easier than fighting with paintshop if you don't quite have the right eye/hand coordination. (like me)

Thanks Skyhawk and Railrunner - I think I have the tail under control, it's the dog I'm worried about!! :costumes: Seriously though, thanks for the responses. ;)

Everything is ready to go. I have al the art work done and applied. Just trying to find the "DCANG MINUTEMAN" positioning. The only two images I can find are of left profilel with no indications of whether it was also carried on the right side or not.
