As always Monza (even today) is dripping with atmosphere!
Perhaps the pole position will shut all Alonso 'critics' up for a while.
Excellent thinking from Button and a really good run by Webber.
:jump:

For today's 'Eff Wun' that was a pretty decent race!!!
Some really good driving for the most part and I'll admit to enjoying a Red Car winning at Monza if it's NOT with Hermie in the cockpit.
Webber leads by 5(?) points.
:ernae:

Not a bad race, but the tv coverage was lacking a bit especially in the pitlane. Good to see both both Button and Alonso back in the race for the championship!

I missed it, had to get back home from the Richmond NASCAR race last night. Will watch the replay on SPEED at 1:00. From what I gather, it was pretty much a snorer except for hamiton's mishap and Alonzo's good pit work putting him in the lead. needed rain like all F-1 events.

Nationwide race at Richmond was a snorer too, the COT Nationwide cars are no better than the Cup COT cars were, can't race 'em, can't wreck 'em, boring racing.

Everything as it Should be...

Alonso winning in a Ferrari at Monza...
A single win covering the points position of the first five drivers...
Red Bull still out in front where they belong in the Constructors'...

All is well in F1 ;)

Wasn't a bad sort of a battle this one Caz. No one could afford to slacken off because there was someone right on there backside all through the race.
Webber is going to have to sort out those starts...loosing to much position from the start.
