• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

F1: Canada

And it wouldn't be Canada without idiotic police showing their incompetency. There was a hailstorm preceding the first two timing sessions and police turned away ticket holders at the bridge to the island and the subway station misinforming them that the sessions were canceled due to weather. They went on as normal with a slight delay. These tickets are expensive so there are quite a few people very upset. F1 officials are also upset....... Hope today (race day) goes smoother.

Looks like a very different scenario.
Keeping my fingers crossed for Oscar and Danni Ric, time Oscar had a win and DR finished in the top 5.
According to the speed trap Riccardo was quickest in a straight line at 333KPH and Yuki-San almost as fast.

Re 'speed', at the Italian MotoGP run at Mugello, the maximum speed for a MotoGP bike was 365KPH ........ a World record!

And yes, it appears the Police took it upon themselves to turn people away.
Nothing official from the event organisers (indeed nothing) and it probably kicked off as a rumor.
Some talk of a class action against the Police or the event organisers or both.
