F1 Has Gone Crazy

Only a matter of time before Newey moved on.
In EFF-1 20 years with one team is almost unheard of.
IMHO he should leave the 'Shark Tank' and go sailing, he doesn't need money and he's 65, better to get on with real life than go to the chaos of {for example} Ferrari.
Of course, Daddy Stroll was supposedly offering a blank cheque for his services, another comedy routine from the King of The Kids. :173go1:
As for Ferrari and the hype around the 'Blue Ferrari' retro scheme.........it is awful, nothing like the original that ran in the US and Mexican Grands Prix in the 1964? season.
And of course, the numpties who have posted it's origins have shown their usual lack of anything pre Y2000!
The originals were not entered by Ferrari due to Enzo having a 'disagreement' with the governing body and refusing to enter the above-mentioned rounds, they were entered by N.A.R.T.
According to Ferrari the Miami paint job is to commemorate 70 years of Ferrari in the USA.

The Ferrari reminds me of this one a bit:

But they should've gone full N.A.R.T. on this one..

Looks as if the STR/VCARB (or whatever!) worked well on the soft rubber.
It certainly scuttled McLaren's efforts.

Almost all the pundits seem to like the 'Party' livery, it pretty well suits Miami.
Good to hear that Congress are supposedly taking steps against FOM, the FIA and Liberty on behalf of Cadillac and Andretti.
Hit them with the Anti-Trust law (or whatever!) and just let Andretti get on the grid.
Considering the dismal showing of Alpine, Williams and Sauber for example, there is no way they would meet the so-called performance standards
FOM are so fond of quoting.........in fact 12 teams on the grid would be a good idea.
Must be time for my medication.

Having caught up with SQ and the sprint race, I must say I kinda like the Ferrari livery..
