The cars for the new season are being presented. As it was agree to stick to the old cars not much really new, but nevertheless some surprises. I like the new livery of the Alpine1/Renault. The blue looks much nicer than the boring black and yellow scheme. And the Aston Martin/Mercedes replica looks nice in its green livery. For the rest the cars look remarkably the same as last year.

To get in the mood a nice movie in which the Aston Martin is compared with the Mercedes.

Cheers,
Huub

That Aston Martin looks so dull and uninspired, compared to some concept art that you can find online..

As for Haas' latest stunt... :mixed-smiley-010:

I had to laugh, the narrator of the video mentioned the return of Aston Martin to F1 after 42 (or 43) years being something of an historical milestone.
The only thing 'Aston Martin' on this abomination it the name and the approximation of the Aston Green.
Probably the money as well.
Problem is the old front engined car looked and sounded gorgeous but was a dismal failure.
I must say the green is way better than the previous pink!
Interesting video Huub, all those million dollar dinky little squares of carbon fibre added plenty of humour.
Another one with more front wings than a Jasta of Fokker Triplanes!
:stupid:

Lawrence Stroll now owns both the team and the factory, so it makes more sense than the Aston logo on the Red Bull Renault/Tag Heuer/Honda..

Meanwhile the new Williams has leaked on the net before the launch apparently:

Let's not overlook the 'Lexus' badge that RBR sported for several seasons.
I am so looking forward to MotoGP and WSBK Ferry!
