Shame about Vettel and Grosjean, but a great podium! The 'oldest' podium in a long time.
Hamilton throwing away his chances, he should have settled for any possible points and just let Maldonado pass...

Surely the best race of the year!
Just when you thought "Oh well there goes Vettel again" ...BOOM!
Grosjean ...BOOM!
Hamilton ...OOPS!
Maldonado...your fault - DEMOTED!

I thought the Tifosi were going to explode when Alonso parked that red beast in front of the stand and did his war dance for them.
What a day for Spain! :applause:

Not sure if I agree; Hamilton was fighting a lost battle, all he could do was get to the finish and see if he would end up with a few points. The McLaren looked like it was driving on ice!
So why try to defend so desperately..? Now he got no points at all.

I agree it was probably the most interesting race so far this season....it was looking like a big yawn then bang, crash...lots of things changed.
