My apartment is finally finished! I put together my Obutto flight sim chair, and got FSX up and running. I think it's been almost a year since I last did any simming. Oh, I have kept up with the latest freeware/payware projects, etc..., but just haven't had time to do anything.

But my new living space is quite comfortable. It's just under 350 sq ft. Basically an efficiency apartment. I had a urinal installed (always wanted one). I get a lot of sarcastic comments from women about it, but hey....it's a "guy" thing!! Mounted my DLP projector on the ceiling, and put up the wall screen. Bought a 22 inch lcd tv, and mounted it on a swing-out bracket at the end of my bed, which is a fold-up Murphy style. My shower is large enough that no curtain is needed, because not a drop of water splashes out. It's about 7 ft long!

The Pièce de résistance is my "Kegerator".........currently have a 1/6 keg of Land Shark in it.

Anyway, my Rottweiler "Chief", my siamese "Twist", and I are settled in now, and lovin' life.

A urinal, huh? Now THAT is very cool. Or, as the current generation would say, "awesome"..... [or is it "amazing"?]

OMG, that is HYSTERICAL!!!!!!

There was an article written by the columnist, Fred Reed, many years ago when the USN first started putting women on combat ships. He made the comment in his article that perhaps the existing urinals onboard the ships could be used as planters........

Nice digs NC. Looks like Chief and Twist have a great bed to sleep on. I sure hope they share with ya. LOL

At least with the urinal you don't have to hear the complaints on 'leavin the lid up'. LOL

BTW..... more detailed photos of your 'sim chair' would be great. Flight oriented minds need to know more.

Please tell me you have the light switch on two circuits, one for the white light and one for the red, other wise it's not a proper Chief's Q.

I'm waiting for my youngest to move her s:censored:t out of her old room so I can get my cave set up. I wanted a urinal when the built the house but the wife and girls said no. Glad to see everything is getting back on track.

Hey shipmate. Nope, the best I could get was the one circuit, BUT I do have a red lens I can change out for when I don't want to be disturbed, heh, heh....
