whats the back story on this?....this is the kind of boat id love to have to restore and go play in the san jauqin delta with..
 
Well.....it was time for a barnacle scrape anyway....

....Actually...this is quite interesting. The wheel house shows a partial home harbour name, something like...--ada, BC. (British Columbia, Canada.....)

Are these photos in California...? (I see palm trees....)
 
Had it been moored out in the bay for a while, or is it a new arrival?

Quite a few possibilities for the home port... but it looks like "Ensenada, BC" ( in this case BC is Baja California - the northern half of the peninsula)
 
Baja California....okay, had me going for a moment. The (wood?) hull shape, forward portholed wheelhouse doesn't look right for Pacific Northwest/probable vintage.
