This is a repaint of the Flight Replicas Piper L-4 in the colors of the US Army's 86th Division (Blackhawks) Artillery Air Section. I finally painted up the plane my father, 1st Lt. Joseph M. Bowers, flew in WWII. He was an liaison pilot (artillery spotter) for the 86th Infantry's Artillery Division.
