Flying Irons P-38L ?

dcc

P-38 nut
I saw a post on the official forums hinting that Flying Irons has a P-38L near release for MSFS. Naturally, as a certified P-38 "nut" this got my attention, as I honestly didn't think I'd see a P-38 in MSFS for several years, if at all.

I'm not very familiar with this developer, but it appears they made one for X-plane, so it's reasonable to assume this is a port of that model to MSFS. Anyone here know anything about this model (either in X-plane or the coming MSFS offering)?

They released a Spitfire Mk IX a few months ago and it's really nice. Superb 3D model, ever-improving handling characteristics. There's a topic here and a bazillion screenshots in the screenshot thread. :)

Given that, I have high hopes for the P-38.

Love the P-38. Even more so after recently reading the Kelly Johnson Biography. When they get the sweet sound of those Allisons right, I won't have much choice.
