There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.
If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.
Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

i never understood what it was that everyone likes so much about the tri-motor. it looks like a flying shed.
very cool bill....the one that was in the TAT colors awhile back that crashed...if i remember correctly..was a recreation. would come up here once a year and give rides..it would over fly my house on the return trip ..it was over flying folsom lake ( and the "famous" folsom prison)and then up the canyon for a look at the forest hill bridge..which is the highest in california..3rd highest in n the USA..WONDERFULL sound it made and looked like it was "crawling" through the skyWhen dad was a young boy, he had to fly from Michigan to Louisianna once. They put him on an airliner, the modern day, comfortable, luxurious Ford Tri-Motor.
After landing, the pilot introduced his co-pilot, a guest on board, the famous Amelia Earhardt. He said she had flown the plane the entire time. Dads first time to fly and to see one of his fave hero's, a national icon back then.
