I am a big fan of naval aviation. I have a huge list of AI and drivable ships at my pier. Many thanks to all that have put forth a lot of effort to make the models and paint the textures. It is pain-staking work. There is one kind of ship class, however, that has been overlooked.

The Forrestal class. It would be nice to see someone model one for FSX. Especially since they are being scrapped here in Brownsville Texas.

I decided to do some tinkering with Google Sketchup. I downloaded an unfinished model of the Saratoga (CV-60) from 3dwarehouse. I heavily remodeled it, and added some decent textures. I cannot reach the original owner of the model (the flight deck outline is the only part that is still the original) to release it publicly though.
