FR B-24J Liberator WIP

mike_cyul

SOH-CM-2025
Seeing as things are progressing, just thought I post a few more WIP screenshots, including a peek at the VC of the armoured-windscreen variant.

There is still a lot to do in the VC, it is not complete, and so please just view this as as an aircraft which is not quite at the end of the production line....

Also, some screenshots of some different paint schemes that correspond with this particular model of B-24: B-24J-140-CO

Once the VC is completely finished, it'll be time to move on to different versions.

Mike

Thanks Mike, for the update. Things are looking great. Fantastic model. VC is also outstanding.

If that's the unfinished cockpit, I can't wait to see the finished cockpit. ;)

It looks great. Thanks for the previews.

Thanks everyone. :)

There are instruments to be installed, wiring, bolts, screws, oxy fittings, seat details, seat cushions, overhead curtains, structure and armour at the rear of the cockpit.... and then night textures for everything. Keep things busy for a while, especially trying to stay within the poly budget. 80% done, 80% left to do, as they say.

Anybody notice the fly-by-wire sidestick controls? And I thought Airbus invented those.... Although these had limited movement and were used to make long-distance formation flying a little easier, and used the autopilot to move the controls.

I was wondering what those were. That's very cool, I never knew about those.

Are you going to make the pilot look like James Stewart?

Great Work

Looks absolutely super. If the rest of the work is the quality of this work it will be fantastic. I know of me and a few others with the money in hand waiting on the final result. Thank you for all of your efforts. :encouragement::encouragement:
