Freeware Messerschmitt 109 ?

Now that I have a new PC there was no way to port my old files to my new rig - seems Windows ME and Windows XP don't like to get along. I've lost my Lionheart Creations Viking, Bestmann and Junkers, as well as all of my other payware birds.

Is the former payware 109 released as freeware still available?

I totally missed that one! I will have to try it out.

IF you still have your old PC, and if it has a CD or DVD burner in it, just burn your aircraft folders to disc and copy them into your XP installation of FS9.

And for future reference, ALWAYS burn any payware install packages to CD/DVD or some permanent media...that way you never loose them. I have so many discs full of aircraft (mostly freeware)...some I still use, some I don't use, some I haven't even installed to see if I am going to use them or not.

Hi all,
You could do as Obio said.Or you could put the old harddrive in as a second drive and just copy them across.

Thanks for the link and the suggestions guys, my old PC did not have a DVD drive or a CD burner, and I tried connecting them via a cable, but neither will communicate as the old system ran Windows ME and the newer rig, XP.

Cheers! Mike :ernae:

Hi
How about another suggestion?
Does your old PC have USB ports ? -if it's less than 10 years old, it should have at least 1.
The new one should certainly have some.
Just copy the files onto a USB flash drive (they're fairly cheap now) and transfer them that way.

Aw man! I'd forgotten how nice this model is....thanks for reminding me...:applause:
