French GP

A very good question Ed!
Same old same old, too many chiefs, not enough Indians.
The team need a Manager/Principal with the same obnoxious mindset of Wolfe or Horner.
'One Ring To Rule Them All!'.....apologies to Tolkien.

It seems this is an old Italian rule that Ferrari still follows nowadays: if they are in a good position to win or get a good result, they HAVE to f_ck everything up and loose at the end.

Leclerc pushed too hard to prevent an undercut by Verstappen, Sainz ignored the red light during his pitstop. Strategy wise Binotto's explanation makes sense: Sainz' tires probably wouldn't have lasted anyway and he would not get five seconds clear of Perez and Russell, now at least he got an extra point for fastest lap.
The engine is not the most reliable though, and there will be more penalties incoming for sure.

Ferrari is Ferrari. They simply don't work like a Swiss clock, like most other teams. They base their decisions mainly on emotions and they are a brand of FIAT, which has a reputation of not being that reliable.
But they are fast and beautiful!

Cheers,
Huub
