I did find one small issue and that is the direction of propeller rotation is backwards. I was able to fix this by making changes to the cfg file.

First, I changed this entry near the top of the file

[General]
EDITABLE=1

Changing the 0 to a 1 allows the file to be edited.

Then I scrolled down to this section and added the rotation line

[propeller]
rotation= -1

adding the rotation= -1 line reverses the visible direction of rotation.

Now my prop rotates in the correct direction.

A big thank you to Milton Shupe for sprucing up this aircraft. :jump:

Thanks so much Oldkiner52 Milton & Ed.

This was the aircraft I used on my first RTW leg 8 years back and have been a fan of it ever since along w/ another Grumman too! :biggrin-new:

:applause:

EDIT - It looks like 2 little things were missed. For the FSX version only.. In the Light Blue texture options the "switch_panel" and "fuel_selector" bitmaps need to be converted to 32 bit from 24.. That's it.

Lovin the 'Cat!

EDIT AGAIN - When using the alternate textures donot include f8ffuse_T.bmp when transferring to alternate paints. It will override the fuselage.

I know this is an old thread but not sure where else to ask.

I installed this into my P3D install last night and the windows were a completely white and opaque so it was unusable. I was about to just delete it but then I though, this is one of Milton's models, give it another chance, so I am here looking to see if anyone has a solution to this problem.

Thanks in advance.

Joe
