FSX/P3D native Douglas Skyraider series and/or A-26 Invader?

Is there anybody (besides RAZBAM, whom nobody has heard from in years in relation to the development of their Invader) developing a Douglas A-26 Invader FSX/P3D native? And who here, besides me, would love to see an FSX/P3D Skyraider series, to the same tune as RAZBAM's old FS9 two-part package? Just wishful thinking, at this point.

The A-26 by Milton Shupe and team was converted to FSX native by John "Bomber_12th" Terrell.

Just do a search for the file fsx_a26_invader.zip.

Cheers,
Huub

Yes Steve, you were just a bit faster than I was, because I wasn't a 100% sure they were FSX native.

But in the library here at the SOH you can find a native Douglas A-1H Skyraider and a Douglas A-1J Skyraider by Tim "Piglet" Conrad. There are also loads of repaints available for these models by various very talented artists.....

Cheers,
Huub

In earnest, as much as I like Tim's work, today I hope that Milviz or another current dev studio would pick it up. This is an iconic warbird, still flying today, and definetly would deserve an up to date model. Or models, that is. There were many types that would justify paid updates.

Cheers,
Mark

One of the older native freeware FSX models - it works well in P3D v4 64 bit. Cheers to Mr Conrad!

+1 I have Piglet's A-1H and it's a great flyer!

I have both the SOH A-26 and Conrad's old A-1H & J. They're awesome to fly. I just think they're a bit dated. And the number of variants for either model are rather limited, compared with all the different real-life versions of the aircraft.

Only thing missing from the Piglet Skyraider is a repaint in the livery of Heritage Flight Museum - "A Proud American".

I have both volumes of the Razbam Skyraider for FS9. When I acquired FSX I picked up their Volume 2 and imported the FS9 Volume 1 over to FSX. It's been awhile, but I believe there were some minor changes to get Volume 1 working in FSX as with some of the typical FS9 port-overs, but it does work.
